Our brand new martial arts for kids program goes way beyond teaching children how to defend themselves. It is, in every sense, a leadership development program that teaches life-lessons and character development for making the right decisions now... and in the future. Our program rests upon two guiding points - Character and Courage
Character
At The Dragon Institute, we are developing champions - through and through! Champions do not become champions when they beat someone else, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for success.
Courage
We teach children that courage is not the absence of fear, it is taking a step forward when you are afraid.
We teach children to have the courage to be themselves and stand up for what is right as well as the courage to sit down and listen.
Our students are champions because they dare greatly!
It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better.
